Iris 2: The World is Your Instrument
iZotope Iris 2 is a new kind of visual instrument that lets you create and discover musical sounds that have very likely never been heard before. Iris 2 gives you amazing creativity over a sample-based synthesizer, along with the flexibility of a modular synth. You can get started right away by choosing one of the hundreds of beautifully crafted patches. You can then manipulate them with the easy to use Macro Controls that are built right into the musician friendly Patch Browser.

It’s easy to build custom patches by just layering samples from the 11 GB library, or you can even upload your own WAV and AIFF files. Then what? Go do what you want using modern modulation, effects, and filters which will let you see an entirely new set of musical possibilities. With iZotope Iris 2, creating your own sounds has never been so intuitive, creative and just downright fun. The options that you can create are only limited by your imagination, go forth and create!

Flexible new modulation system
iZotope has take the Iris 2‰’s modulation system and rebuilt it from the ground up. Incredibly you now have over 100 parameters that can be modulated. You can use up to five LFOs, plus five Envelopes, along with MIDI Expression Controllers, and Macro Controls. All of these can be done with a simple, single-click-and-drop system.

Sample and classic oscillator waveforms can be loaded quickly
The sample pool now allows for you to load any sample. When you do you have options to use any of the dozens of classic analog oscillator samples included. You can also use oscillator waveforms (OSC WAVs)  in of the sample pools, which are easy to grab quickly from the empty spectrogram.

Totally redesigned interface
Iris 2 will inspire you with the incredible array of creative tools they put in your hands. Dozens of artists from all kinds of genres have given input on all knobs, buttons, panels, features, and most importantly the workflow. This allows you to introduce new creativity into your own sound journey.

Massive amounts of visualizations and metering available
iZotope Iris 2 lets you easily see the effects of your processing and spectral filtering. All of the modulated parameter meters show you the effects of modulation right as you are working on it. There is also a version of the spectrum analyzer that is the basis of the award-winning iZotope Insight metering suite, which can be seen right in the master section.

New and better effects and filters
iZotope‰ is know for it’s award-winning signal processing technology, which includes distortion and filters from Trash 2. Plus a brand new delay, and controls of almost every parameter from inside the Multimode Master Filter, as well as the effects processors.

New and awe inspiring patches
Iris 2 includes a massive library, 11GB of samples provided as 24-bit .WAV files which means you can use them with any sampler. Not to mention there are hundreds of exciting new patches created by award winning sound designers.
