The technology behind Transformizer is based on advanced analysis of the pitch, amplitude, duration and timbre of a Parent section sound, ‘Master sound’ and hereafter applying these parameters to control an additional set of Child section sounds. Through creative composition of sources and intuitive tweaking of parameters, new sounds will be brought to life in seconds.

Not really a vocoder
The formant part of Transformizer Pro is in principle a vocoder. But typically a vocoder only have 11- 30 bands because they themselves in software are implemented like the old classic analog vocoders, ie. as parallel filter banks with a bank for the analysis and one for the synthesis respectively, where each filter in the analysis, controls the gain of a corresponding in the synthesis. Thus, the formant frequencies also stick to the center frequencies of the few filters, giving the typical robot-like vocoder sound. We have several thousand small filters and have this part tightly woven together with the pitch shifting part, so it really can not be compared.
